I swear, the more portraits I do, the more I think most muds are just fantasy versions of The Matrix. Even muds with Matrix themes. Especially those, probably. There is just a HUGE subsection of players where everything they wear must be black. I cannot tell you how many times I've gotten the same character description. Black longcoat with deep black pants in their shadowy ebon platemail with their flowing raven locks cascading down their backs like a waterfall of ninjas.
Colors, people! Colors! Even if you're evil. Especially if you're evil!
I have a personal policy of not allowing any black into Raelee's wardrobe!
That said, I had not drawn her since 2006... so I decided it was overdue. This isn't actually finished yet... I still need to do the background. But, I'm posting it anyway (mostly because I'm seriously procrastinating on the aforementioned background...)

Thanks! It was done by Lowenael on tumblr if anyone is interested in checking out her commissions. She has slots open now, I believe.
She also did my little Prime character that runs around Vaalor occasionally.

Aw nuts, Michiko. I got excited about that for a minute until I saw she was European. She'd want an actual wage if I subcontracted some artwork to her from my studio. Find me some South Americans! They work for black market dollars!
